Advice to ponder.
During a conversation with my boyfriend, I came across two distinct ideas: the publish mode and the promotion mode.
As I'm focused on promoting my book, the promotion mode has taken a significant portion of my day. On the other side, my boyfriend is developing an engineering blog, thus he is concerned with the publish mode.
The publish mode challenges you to only worry about hitting the publishing button. This is particularly helpful when you are just starting and debating if you should or should not do it.
The promotion mode comes much later... when you are already established and no longer fear the publishing button, but instead want to build an audience, get sales or develop authority.
Interestingly, I went through the publish mode when, a few months ago, I started writing the book.
The question is: right now, what mode should you pay attention to?

During these past months of writing my new book Around is Forward: The Productivity Cycle Behind Extraordinary Results, I've been a bit more anxious than normal. I would say feeling a little unsettled and nervous.
The activity that has helped me deal with these emotions best is exercising — hitting the gym, jumping rope, or walking outside.
