(A) Advice to ponder.

“Thinking again can help you generate new solutions to old problems and revisit old solutions to new problems. It’s a path to learning more from the people around you and living with fewer regrets.”
— Adam Grant

I’m loving the book Think Again by Adam Grant. It has been helping me to embrace the joy of being wrong rather than wanting to be right all the time.

If you’ve just learned you were wrong, great! You are better than you were before — thinking you were right while being wrong.

Sometimes that feels uncomfortable. Our ego hates it. But it is our choice to question what might be wrong and look for what is right… until it isn’t right anymore. And the process is repeated.

(B) Blah, blah, blah.

Hi, you!

When I was a kid, my grandma used to make homemade bread every Easter.

She would start at 9:00, and we had to wait a few hours before eating it. It smelled so good, and the whole house was filled with its aroma!

I loved watching her prepare everything because she always talked about how important each step is in baking bread.

You can't just throw ingredients together and hope for the best -- if you want great bread, you have to take your time.

She taught me the importance of patience when making something creative, which has helped me over the years as an online content creator.

I feel the same when it comes to writing.

I start with the research, give it shape and make the first draft.

Then, I let it sit for a couple of hours. These are essential for me to get new ideas, stories, and thoughts unconsciously.

When I come back, I feel refreshed and ready to finish the piece — and put it in the oven: publishing it.

What activity requires you to let it sit for a couple of hours to make it unique?

How to Detach Yourself from your Business (without ruining it)

You are running your business for some time now. You always wanted to be your own boss. Taking a vacation when you feel like it. Having coffee with a friend at 3 pm on a Thursday. Helping your kids with homework.

It feels good to be in charge.

Unless... unless you say things like this:

"If I decide to take a day off here and there to spend it with my family, my businesses will immediately crumble."
