(A) Advice to ponder.
We all mess up sometimes.
It can be terrifying.
The book Daring Greatly by Brené Brown has helped me face some difficult and uncomfortable situations with more courage.
Brené wrote about how we need to “let go of certainty and learn to live in the messy space between our vulnerabilities and our imperfections where creativity resides.”
But being vulnerable is going out on a limb.
Trusting ourselves even though we know we will fail.
Facing uncomfortable situations with courage.
Embracing humanness.
Vulnerability can be terrifying.
But you know what it can also be?
It can be a way to be brave enough to face fear.
And embrace our imperfections.
And be ok with not being perfect.
So go out on a limb tonight -- embrace your vulnerability, trust your capabilities; fight some demons, learn some lessons; run some risks, win some life-changing rewards.
(B) Blah, blah, blah.
Hi there!
If you’re looking to start a blog, write a book, write an IG caption, an email, here’s some writing advice:
I am not a professional writer.
But I have published a book. And 200+ blog posts.
Here's how I DON'T write content every day👇
I don't start with a blank page.
I don't start without a template.
I don't write and edit at the same time.
I don't use content once — I repurpose it.
I don't invent everything — I get inspiration from others.
I don't write with distractions.
I don't ignore my ideas.
Go, and write.
